Incomplete set missing Northanger Abbey and Persuasion. 8 volumes out of 10 - set consists of Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, Mansfield Park, and Emma. Illustrated by political cartoonist Alfred Wallis Mills [1878-1940]. Mills's illustrations were first published in 1908. Introduction by R. Brimley Johnson in the first volume of P&P. This 1925 edition has a panoramic illustration inside the covers of front and back of every volume, in addition to the illustrations in each book. The illustrations are Regency but also, some have an early 20th century feel.  Covered in handsome green cloth with embossed floral gilt decorations and titles on the spines. Light wear on top and bottom spine ends with tears in cloth (see photo). Spine cloth is slightly sun faded. Medallion decoration on front covers are lovely.
