The Journal of Margaret Hazlitt: Recollections of England, Ireland, and America.

SKU: 10714

Edited by Ernet J. Moyne. Margaret Hazlitt [1770-1841] wrote her journal for the information and instruction of her nephew, but she informs us all. She records the struggles of her father as he sought a suitable pastorate for his dissenting beliefs and through his family's travels probably founded Unitarianism in America. The effect on the family included her mostly rural life, but her adventures overseas made quite an impression on her. Excellent condition.  University of Kansas Press. 1967. Hb, Dj. mylar.
