Pym, Barbara.

A previously unpublished novel from Pym's "silent period," set in a provincial English university in the early 1970's. More akin to a mystery novel than her usual comedy of manners, it's nevertheless recoginzably Pym. Caroline, the bored young wife of an anthropologist, is looking for something useful to do with her life. Hazel Holt, Pym's literary executor, prepared the novel for publication by amalgamating two drafts and researching Pym's notes. Minor sunfading, otherwise very good condition. E. P. Dutton, NY. 1986. Hb, Dj. USED. $15.00
