Mary B. An Untold Story of Pride and Prejudice.
Well-written and truly enjoyable. For those who would like to know the fate of Mary, a bookish woman without the necessary beauty, with no fortune, and little else that would attract someone to marry her in the early 19th century, this is an excellent read. Told from Mary Bennet's point of view. We learn about her life before, during, and after the weddings of three of her sisters and their neighbor Charlotte. As Mary's ideas of self-worth change, she learns that reading and writing may well be sources of happiness. LIKE NEW. Random House. 2018. Hb, Dj. USED. $10.00
